I’ve spent many years brewing my own beer with varying degrees of success. I thought it might be nice to start a blog to document my journey, with the aim of helping others and hoping to improve my own methods.

Then the hunger to make edible bread…..

One Christmas, my wife made a focaccia from a pre-mix packet and it was lovely. A few years later, I felt the urge to make one myself, and it was lovely. So I bought another pre-mix (white bread with cheddar and sun dried tomato) and it was disappointing. At this point I thought, lets just make simple white bread. How hard can that be?
